Each year, we support a new organization or two from our Golf Tournament proceeds in honor of Mark. The cause is always something near and dear to him.
This year, Team Tucker is one of the benefactors and we hope to raise enough to give $10k to support their mission. Once you meet Tucker’s mom, Dana, you’ll know why. Read her story.
“I had the opportunity to meet Dana, a former School Psychologist and Special Education Teacher, at the Let’s Play Hockey Expo. My sister and I had the chance to see the multitude of people stopping by her booth to thank her for her work. Some had been helped through her program. Many hockey players also made a point to stop by to say a quick hello to their beloved teammate’s mom. Tucker was obviously loved”, recalled Jean Pavelich Gevik. “I immediately fell in love with Dana’s cause and her heart.”
